Introduction
My name is Rob Greco and I am an experienced Guitar Tutor. I teach the guitar in Nottingham where I have a recording studio and teaching studio.
I teach the electric guitar and the acoustic guitar and have spare guitars for if you do not own a guitar yet or simply do not wish to bring it with you.
My Background
I studied popular music at Clarendon College Nottingham, where I achieved a Higher National Diploma in Music this is in the same league as a degree but aimed at the student who wants practical learning rather than theory based. I have been a member in many bands and have taught guitar since then. I have varied and broad professional experience of different styles of music, these include Blues, Pop, Jazz, Folk and Classical.
I teacher beginner guitar lessons, intermediate guitar lessons and also more advanced guitar lessons so what ever your background, you are always welcome.
I believe in making learning the guitar fun and make sure that the guitar student gets the most out of every lesson.
I have links with local guitar shops in Nottingham so if you do not have a guitar- don't worry! you can use my guitars for the guitar lesson and purchase a guitar in your own time at a discount if you mention my name in the guitar shop.
I have a wide range of students of different ages and musical backgrounds and each guitar lesson is tailored to suit the individuals tastes and requirements.
I am very down to earth and understand that your musical taste will possibly be varied to mine, I will only teach you something if you want to know it. Of course there are stepping stones to getting to your goal and it is my job to guide you though this journey of learning the guitar.
In my private life I am a family man. I am newly wed and have a baby on the way, when I am not in the studio teaching guitar I enjoy spending time with my friends and family and walks on the park with my dog Charlie.
I am notorious for helping students outside of lessons if they request it, almost all of my students are friends of mine on facebook and I am always being pinged on there, which of course I don't mind!
